ThisVerseFitz 41 – Hebrews

ThisVerseFitz relating to modern times, Encourage to love and good works, not neglect meeting together. We do not have an enduring city, we look for the city that is to come.

On this forty first Sunday of 2025, October 12, we enter the Book of Hebrews .

The Supremacy of God’s Son.

Hebrews 1:1-4 – “Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.”

Jesus intercedes for his followers forever.

Hebrews 7:25 – “Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.”

Encouraging communication and positive interactions. The side of evil attempts to put a stop to it. Encourage to love and good works, not neglect meeting together.

Hebrews 10:23-25 – “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another , and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Hebrews 11:1-3 – “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.”

Hebrews 11:6 – “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

Jesus, Founder and Perfecter of Our Faith.

Hebrews 12:1-2 – “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Hebrews 13:14 – “For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.”

“God Search in Words” works exactly as a normal “Word Search” with a somewhat higher level of difficulty given the Biblical terms. Once all the words are found, the leftover letters repeat a phrase 2.19 times (meaning the phrase is present 2 times and 19 letters of the phrase are left over). We call this the “AfterPuzzle”.
