Two adorable children who stay happy and positive despite having an illness. Caleb, Alex and every single child at Shriners and St. Jude deserves praise and respect for always smiling in the face of adversity. Many of us complain about simple, every day, trivial bumps in the road that are exaggerated into problems.
“My coffee was cold when they served it.”
“Both of my arms are sore from rowing my kayak.”
“I spilled sauce on my expensive shirt.”
“My stupid smart phone needs a charge again.”
“The concert last night gave me a headache.”
“Clothes again for my Birthday!”
“I had to walk to the gym because my car needs a new battery!”

“I don’t want chicken again. It’s been three times today day! And I’m so full”
When feeling the urge to complain, think about how it sounds and all you’ve been blessed with. Think about those less fortunate.
You’re able to be served coffee?
You have a kayak? You have 2 arms?
You can afford a shirt like that?
You have a smart phone?
you’re able to go to concerts?
Someone loves you enough to celebrate your birthday?
You have a gym? You are able to walk? You have a car? Not waiting at the bus stop?
You have a roof to protect from the rain?
Your parents are alive?
You were able to have children?
You get three meals a day?
Tell someone you appreciate them and everything they do!
