Many years ago, it was worrisome for a citizen to cross the borders back into the US. You may have had a pack of firecrackers, a half a joint, plants, beverages or tobacco that you didn’t realize couldn’t be brought across.

Now it’s acceptable or even expected for terrorists, rapists, murderers and gang members to stack women and children in the trunk, stash pounds of fentanyl and weapons, and shoot at the border police on their way back in laughing, while burning the American flag.

Times have changed.
