The CAT has been out of the bag for quite a while now. Not everyone has been aware of it as long, but now the world knows. One CATastrophe after another.
On the subject of Cats, or dogs, or pets, we remember some dear furry friends.
In biblical times, animals were sacrificed in trade of sins. Whether the animals had a significant connection with the owner or if it worked its field, it was a symbol of repentance for the sins. It’s no longer a practice in most societies, however, its symbolism can be translated to modern times.
Not everyone has pets for the same reason and some are not out of love. If someone raises a dog to fight, they should have many questions to answer on judgement day.
There are many pet people that provide better for their animals than they do for themselves. The amount of love, enjoyment and sacrifice is immeasurable and so is the pain and suffering when it comes time to offer them back up.
It’s never easy but it is known when taking on the love and responsibility. Giving them back up should feel good although it doesn’t. You’ve nurtured and raised something incredible and now it’s time to share what you’ve put so much time and energy into so you can do it again. Whether it’s the offering in the form of a Brandy, a Roscoe, a Ginger or a Darla, it’s an offering of something incredibly special that will wait for you to reunite forever and have a million times the love and affection they had for you on earth.
Heavenly Father, Creator of all things, thank you for having entrusted us with such loyal friends. Thank you for letting these beautiful animals teach us unselfish love. Thank you for the memories we can recall to brighten our days for the rest of our lives. Finally, in gratitude, we return our cherished companions to you. Amen.
